Trade and Industry Education
In the 21st Century, our ability to take advantage of the power and promise of innovation in science and technology will determine, to a great extent, our national prosperity, security and quality of life. Trade and Industrial education in large measure, finds itself at the epicenter of industrial economic development. According to most analysts today, a skilled workforce is the most crucial driver of economic growth and opportunity in the new economy. Increasingly, our country's competitiveness and what people earn depend on knowledge and skills. Continuous learning and new skill acquisition are not options anymore.
Technical skills are in demand. In nearly every field, the demand for technological expertise is growing. From automotive technology, to technical engineering, to machinists, electronics, welding and more, the demand for skilled technicians has never been greater.
