The documentation required for Articulation Certification will be a completed
Form VE-CE 112 and a copy of a current DPI license for the subject area,
and any other required industry certifications. Some courses such as
"Cisco Networking I or II, and "Applied Food Service Sanitation" require
documentation of completion of specialized training or coursework.
WTCS districts will collect the cost of the request, equal to the current cost
of an Individual Request, from the K-12 school district.
Articulation Certification will not be requested if the individual already holds
other WTCS certification that covers the course to be taught.
EXAMPLE
An instructor could receive Articulation Certification for course 10-806-111
(Introduction to Biochemistry), while 10-801-195 (Written Communication) could
not be taught under this type of certification.
RATIONALE
Effective August 1, 1993, the certification code allows certification of high
school teachers who are teaching WTCS courses to high school students. The WTCS
certification process will require the minimum documentation to facilitate this
practice.
Implemented: August 30, 1993
