FY 2012-13 Applications

The next due date for General Business applications is Friday, May 18, 2012.  A complete electronic pdf file for each grant submission must be received by this date.  Colleges may submit up to six applications for competitive review.  Submission instructions WAT Grant Submission 5-18-2012. 

An application may receive special consideration for strengthening the position of the state’s driver industries, page 3 of the WAT Grant guidelines, reference can be made to this document, The Wisconsin Manufacturing Study, locally developed documentation or other reliable source.

An application may receive special consideration for implementing activities related to career pathways and bridge programs as defined under the RISE initiative; descriptions and examples can be found here. http://www.wtcsystem.edu/initiatives/rise/index.htm

Applications for FY 2012-13 Small Business proposals will be accepted on a continuing basis. A complete electronic pdf file is required for each submission.  Please do not send Small Business applications in the same submission as General Business applications.

FY 2011-12 Applications

All FY 2011-12 General Business funds have been awarded. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to continue funding Small Business WAT Grants for FY 2011-12.  Jim Mackey has already contacted the colleges that have grants submitted asking if they can begin the training July 1, 2012.  You may continue submitting Small Business grants at any time as long as they specifically state the work will begin on or after July 1, 2012. 

**All applications must use the WATAPP-08/10 application form (see below).**
